In line with previous reviews - compelled to report what a tragic job the holiday letting team provide for this real estate agency. Terrible communication, management of bookings and management of payments taken for bookings. We were charged twice in order to secure a holiday because the agent initially booked and charged us for an unavailable unit. On paying for a second unit, we had to persistently chase a refund over the following fortnight, only to be met with rudeness and lack of accountability. I’m still awaiting the return of my safety deposit 3 weeks on.

Room for improvement I think there is some need of restructuring within LJ Hooker Iluka, at least on the holiday letting side. In the last two years there was a constant change of Holiday Letting Agents. As a result there were ongoing issues not only with communication, but also cleaning, etc. and also a very modest economic performance. I would have gone quietly but when the principal Nick Potente - instead of apologising - felt free to ask $33.00 for emailing the one page End of the Financial Year Statement, I thought this review might be in the public interest.

Knowledge of market communication and professionalism was excellent. Jodie from LJ Hooker was excellent Jodie showed professionalism and experience with sales and local knowledge in all areas of Iluka. From the first day of inspection to the day of the settlement we were kept up to date in all aspects of the sale. If selling or buying in Iluka Jodie and the team from LJ Hooker Iluka will make the experience seamless and pleasurable.
