We had an excellent experience working with Mathijs Bil of McGrath - Ettalong throughout the entire leasing campaign for our investment property. From the initial appraisal to securing a tenant, the process was handled with professionalism, transparency, and great attention to detail. We were particularly impressed that a strong rental price was achieved immediately after the first open house. Mathijs clearly understands the local market and positioned the property perfectly, resulting in high-quality interest and a quick lease outcome. What stood out most was the consistent support throughout the process. All of my questions — and there were quite a few — were answered promptly and thoroughly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Communication was proactive, clear, and reassuring at every stage. While I have given up trying to pronounce his name correctly, I would highly recommend his services to any property owner looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and results-driven agent.

This is the second time I have lived long term at Ettalong Beach Resort (better known as the Mantra, Central Coast) 4 years in all. On both occasions, I rented through McGrath Real Estate, who I trust. This time my property manager was Charlie Caynes, who is very professional (like her many colleagues involved), and I was in good hands from start to end-of-lease: Any issues (whether A/C, door locks or toilet) were promptly dealt with and sorted. Charlie is always on top of the situation and not afraid of going the extra mile - always there for you. When back from the Philippines - at some stage - I guess Ettalong Beach will be one of my top priorities, and so will McGrath, and hope Charlie Caynes will still be around - or a similar agent of her calibre. After having to move briefly from Sydney 8yrs ago, McGrath helped us into a rental in Woy Woy very quickly and professionally. It was an easy stress free process. Our current property manager Charlie Caynes has been a breeze to deal with. In terms of contact with our landlord, she has been very prompt in returning emails and correspondence.
