The tenancy itself was handled reasonably well, and communication during the lease was fine. Unfortunately, the bond return process was frustrating. After vacating, my follow-ups regarding the bond were not responded to. As a result, when I initiated the formal bond return process, it took around 15 days to be finalised purely due to the lack of response from the agent. This was disappointing, as the process should have been much faster and smoother. While the bond was eventually returned in full, the lack of support and communication at the end was surprising, especially considering the mutual respect we had throughout the tenancy. UPDATE: Hi Charles, I initiated the bond claim after my follow-up emails went unanswered and after asking who I should contact during the agency’s holiday closure from 19 December to 9 January. Regarding the carpet, the red mark referred to was very small and was raised as a possible issue only. I had offered to discuss and reach a mutual agreement to finalise the bond, however my follow-up was not responded to. The bond was ultimately returned through the standard bond authority process, rather than through direct communication. With respect to the hard rubbish, it was left unintentionally after a third party failed to attend as agreed. I explained this at the time and arranged for it to be removed shortly after, and I thanked you for your flexibility. My review reflects my personal experience at the end of the tenancy. I acknowledged that the tenancy itself was handled well, and my feedback relates only to the bond and communication process after vacating. I did find the reference to countries and the wording around the review unnecessary. I believe I was a responsible and respectful tenant throughout the lease, as reflected in the bond being returned in full :) And I’m comfortable standing by my experience and sharing it honestly. All the best.
Working with Charles was a truly positive experience. He successfully sold my property and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From the beginning Charles demonstrated excellent communication skills, a personable approach, and strong advocacy on my behalf. His in-depth market knowledge and understanding of the process were incredibly reassuring. I especially appreciated his timeliness in responding to any questions or concerns—always prompt, clear, and helpful.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing our first home with Charles Ealdama at Waterfront Real Estate. His professionalism and approachability made the entire process smooth and straightforward. Charles was always available to answer our questions, big or small, and his guidance helped us feel confident every step of the way. We are grateful for his support and highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
