Adoption and quality of your team
We recently purchased a property through Property Today Real Estate. Unfortunately, our experience was distressing and marked by significant communication concerns. During the transaction, we felt considerable pressure to proceed without what we considered full and clear disclosure. When we raised defects identified in the building and pest inspection, the response from the lead consultant was, in our view, dismissive and confrontational. We were told we were “failing the sellers,” and advised that the sellers would terminate the contract if we continued negotiating. At 4:50pm we were told we had until 5pm to confirm via our conveyancer that we would accept the building and pest findings “as is.” After the contract became unconditional, further material issues became apparent which had not been disclosed to us prior. On settlement day, a banking delay occurred outside our control. During this time we received repeated calls which we experienced as accusatory. Previously approved access to the property was withdrawn despite removalists being en route. While standing outside the property with our two young children and the removal truck, the lead agent stated: “At the end of the day, you will still have a roof over your head… I am not worried about you. I’m worried about my sellers and their mental health!” We found this statement inappropriate and deeply distressing. In addition to the negotiation and settlement issues, our contract required the property to be delivered clean and free of personal effects, but with specific pot plants in the pool area to remain. After settlement, we discovered ceramic pots had been removed (including those agreed to remain). One of the agents later confirmed a trailer had been brought to remove them. The plants from the pots however had been discarded all throughout the yard and over the back fence after our final inspection. We also discovered significant mould in the property after settlement. During our pre-settlement inspection we were told we could not walk on the carpet as it was “still wet” and that we were not permitted full access. This experience left us extremely concerned about the professionalism and transparency of the process. In our experience, the sale process lacked balance and professionalism, and we did not feel at all supported as buyers. We encourage others to document all communications carefully and seek independent legal advice throughout any potential sale process.
I am soooo grateful to Josh Cronan for the great service and support i selling my house in just on ONE WEEK to meet other deadlines I had. Josh cheerfully literally held my hand throughout the whole very stressful and traumatic transaction and then presented ME with a huge thank you gift and flowers for my new house. Great honest and reliable agent and highly recommended.
My experience with Property Today Rentals was excellent. Angie and the team were extremely organised and attentive with the management of my rental property. They are very professional and responsive to both landlord and tenant requirements. I would Highly Recommend Property Today Rentals and would definately use their services again.
