I strongly caution anyone considering buying through this agent - Jason Wang. My experience was one of the most unnecessarily stressful and misleading property transactions I’ve ever encountered. He repeatedly gave verbal commitments that never matched what he later sent in the contract. This happened multiple times, and each time the contract arrived conveniently after hours, making it impossible for our conveyancer to review. It felt like a deliberate pattern of pushing us into signing documents that didn’t reflect what had been agreed over the phone. The worst part was discovering — only at the very end — that we were being forced to pay approximately $40,000 in the vendor’s land tax, something that had never been disclosed upfront. When we questioned how such a major cost wasn’t mentioned earlier, we received vague excuses about “confusion between the vendor and solicitor,” but no real explanation or accountability. Whenever we questioned the discrepancies, we were given vague excuses like “I am trying to help you, just go with it”. Buyers deserve honesty and clarity — neither of which we received.
If you choose to deal with this agent, protect yourself: get every single thing in writing, cross-check every clause, and do not rely on anything said verbally. I have personally contacted 3 other buyers who bought from Jason Wang in the past and each one called him a Fraud. Do not deal with this agent if you want to go through a fair deal.
