I attended a viewing of a property in Newtown on Missden Road which was on highlands books. Registering with the female showing the property I showed interest in this location. After having not heard from the real estate after a few days I reached out via phone to Highland and requested who I could reach out to to discuss interest in the property and I was given a leasing agents email. I reached out via the website general enquiry box to ask for a call back. I then was at work and received an email from Nick Moraitis advising they had no record of me viewing the property and was I sure I saw the property. I advised him a few times that yes I had and I was interested and wanted a copy of the contract to show my solicitor. He than began to berate me and push me in to giving an offer there and then even though myself and solicitor had not seen strata or a contract. He said he had buyers ready to exchange right there and then. As far as I was aware if a property is still up on real estate and not stated as sold and a deposit had not been exchanged I still had a chance. He laughed and said why didn't you contact me directly. First of all he didnt do the unit showing and second of all his details were not whos i had been given when i had called Highland. He was rude and pushy and told me I did not need to speak to my solicitor. After this I became very frustrated and angry at being spoken to like I was stupid and basically being called a liar. I said I wanted to make a formal complaint about him to that he hung up. I called straight back to speak to the main reception and expressed my anger at being spoken to like that. I received a call later by Jaymie who listened to my frustration and emailed me the contract. I appreciate Jaymies time and I also appreciate the reception who organised my call with her. All in all Nick soured the experience and I lost out on buying a unit. I personally would not feel comfortable dealing with him again. Due to the admin error I would also be unsure of going through Highland at this time. 2 stars as Jaymie did her best to rectify the issue.

Had a good experience with Highland as renters. They are friendly and helpful real estate agents. Thanks to our fantastic property manager Norman who was always courteous, well organised, and quick to respond to any issues. We had to leave because property was being sold, and the real estate agents made the process as smooth as possible, as well as giving us lots of notice. Entirely positive experience. 10/10

Highland InnerWest have been great in managing my property and then selling it. Highly recommend David Behman to manage a rental property. I have had a few property managers over the years and David beats them all hands down. David was quick to act on any issue that arose, easy to contact and communicate. Also highly recommend Yianni Sclavos if you want to sell your property. Yianni was fantastic! Always there to take my calls and putting my mind at ease. He got down to business quickly and secured a great sale. Thank you to both David & Yianni for being such a pleasure to work with.
