Reading through most of the reviews here, it’s clear that the agency performs very well when working for owners and vendors, and I don’t doubt that many sellers have had positive experiences. However, my experience from the tenant side was quite different, and I think that perspective is often missing in these reviews. The best way I can describe the situation is that tenants feel like the ball on a soccer field, being kicked back and forth between the landlord and the agency. The owner is effectively the king in the arrangement, the agency’s role is largely to serve the owner’s interests, and tenants end up sitting at the very bottom of the ladder in terms of consideration. This became particularly obvious when the property needed to be photographed and prepared for listing. The push to gain access and organise photography felt very aggressive from the tenant side. While I understand that properties need to be marketed and sold, the approach sometimes felt like tenants were simply an inconvenience that needed to be managed quickly so the campaign could proceed. There wasn’t much sense that the people actually living in the property were part of the process. Again, I understand the commercial reality of real estate: agencies are engaged by owners, and their primary duty is to the vendor. That’s not surprising. But there’s still a big difference between doing your job and making tenants feel like they’re just the object being moved around the field so the real players can continue the game. A more balanced and respectful approach toward tenants would go a long way. Clear communication, reasonable notice, and a bit more understanding of how disruptive the process can be for people living in the property would make a big difference. So while I can see why vendors leave glowing reviews here, I think it’s important to note that the experience can feel very different if you happen to be the tenant in the middle of the process.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Paul Caradonna from DC&Co to sell my property. From the beginning he made the process feel smooth and manageable. He was fantastic with communication and kept me updated every time. His advice, professionalism and dedication really stood out. I’m very grateful for the great results we achieved and would happily recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell property.

Dib and his team were always helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the entire selling process. Even though it was a quiet period over Christmas and the holidays, Dib remained positive and proactive, ultimately securing a buyer just before the auction. He also negotiated a short three-week settlement, which made a huge difference for us. This meant we didn’t need bridging finance and were able to settle on the home we had purchased on the same date. We would definitely recommend Dib.
