As tenants, our experience with a specific property manager at Wilson's (and Wilson's HR department) was beyond shocking. We were long-time tenants in a rental and never had any concerns under the care of another real estate company and property manager. This all changed for the worse when the property was handed to Wilson's. The new property manager, Louise, was dismissive and rude to us during a situation where we were displaced from our apartment due to flooding. There was a lack of support or care, and our attempts to reach out for updates on the works were seen as inconveniences. Every phone call and email spiked anxiety. What was every more hurtful, was being called rude and unprofessional. This was after we gently reached out for an update as to when we could move back into our home (after having to find somewhere else to stay for now 2 weeks). HR were unsupportive, and in the end, unresponsive to the situation. Bad experience all round. My partner and I hope to never go through a stress like this again!

This review is specifically for Louise . I only dealt with Louise. She was my property manager and I was lucky to have her. Unfortunately, it was for a short time, however. In that short time, Louise showed up again and again, going above and beyond to advocate for me as the tenant. She is super lovely to deal with, responsive, compassionate and gets things done. Hands down the best property manager I have ever had. I am truly grateful to Louise for everything.

I’ve waited a long time to write this review. Fortunately, I’ve now saved enough money to buy my own apartment, which means I no longer have to bite my tongue or worry about retaliation. What a freeing feeling. Wilson Agents Caulfield is, without exaggeration, the worst real estate agency I have ever dealt with. And that’s saying something. This assessment is not just based on the small detail that ex-agent Stephanie allegedly stole our bond money back in 2016 (along with many others), but let’s be honest — it certainly didn’t help their reputation. Over 10 years of renting through this agency, I dealt with 14 different property managers. Fourteen. That’s not a coincidence; that’s a revolving door. Special mention goes to Sonya — an agent so spectacularly useless she appeared far more invested in being best friends with the landlord than in organising repairs, answering emails, or returning phone calls. Basic competence was clearly optional. There was one agent who actually went above and beyond — sadly, she no longer works there. Fortunately, we were able to remain friends outside of the agent/tenant relationship, which led to some very enlightening conversations. Let me tell you… the alleged toxicity of the workplace culture at Wilson Agents Caulfield is palpable. Shocking? Not remotely. It explains the staff turnover beautifully. If only their professionalism was as high as their annual attrition rate. Unrealistic expectations from both management and landlords mean most staff don’t last longer than 4–5 months. Blink and you’ll miss them. But don’t just take my word for it — scroll through the endless reviews here and decide for yourself. I mean, we can’t all be “disgruntled tenants” inventing the same complaints about ignored emails, unanswered calls, and unaddressed repair requests, can we??? Avoid at all costs. Truly. If I could go back in time, I would have saved my money, bought a tent, and lived on the side of Grey Street in St Kilda— or, as the Wilson’s sales team would no doubt brand it… “The Golden Mile”
