Very poor service by the rental department after buying a property from the sales department of the same agency. My initial property manager Daisy did a good job initially with communication/tenant management and repairs. But after few months the tenent had to be let go and since then the property was not rented out for 3 months. Without any communication to me, the property manager was changed and Daisy completely ceased communication and did not return any calls. New property manager Travis was ok but failed to find a tenant. I later found out that the advertisement on property websites was not even a premier advert which was very disappointing. Opens were held just hoping someone will come and apply rather than any strategy. It was my self who had to suggest decreasing the rent to create interest. Overall a very poor service.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience as a Property Owner My experience with Reliance Real Estate Melton as a property owner was deeply disappointing and far below the expectations set at the beginning. I signed an exclusive authority after receiving assurances from a known agent that the rental campaign would be professionally managed and closely monitored. Unfortunately, communication quickly declined, delays became frequent, and excuses were consistently provided instead of proactive solutions. The property was placed on the rental market with poor presentation, including an untidy bathrooms, kitchen and backyard, without necessary maintenance being completed. This resulted in nearly two weeks of lost time and unnecessary out-of-pocket costs to me as the owner. Over almost two months, I received no formal inspection reports, no tenant attendance updates, no written feedback, and no meaningful Rental inspection reviews. Any updates only came after repeated follow-ups from my side, and even then, the responses were vague and lacked transparency. I also identified inaccuracies in the compliance/audit report arranged by the agency, which later had to be corrected through my new real estate agent, creating additional work and avoidable delays. My final concern arose during the transition to a new agency, when arranging the property key handover became unnecessarily difficult. I was informed that the property keys had been withheld, which I found highly unprofessional and concerning from a property security perspective. My disappointment is not about the outcome, but the lack of communication, accountability, transparency, and professional service that any property owner should reasonably expect. I strongly encourage future owners to carefully review agreements, avoid lengthy authority periods upfront, and closely monitor all work carried out, including maintenance and property presentation. If you have enough time to follow up with them always and keep a close constant eye on them and triple check with their work always, then you can give it a try. All the Best!
