Ray White - Carlingford

Title: Very disappointing customer service and communication I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Ray White Carlingford, particularly during and after the purchase of a property through one of their agents, Ricky. At the beginning of the process, Ricky was responsive and repeatedly asked us to leave him a five-star review after the service. However, once the initial deposit was paid, his communication became extremely poor. He rarely answered our calls and mainly communicated through text messages. There were several issues throughout the process. At our first inspection, Ricky was around 15–20 minutes late. We were also told that if we purchased the property, we would receive a good discount, but this was not followed through as expected. After settlement, we discovered that the apartment had been left with rubbish and cleaning items, including buckets and other equipment. I have no problem cleaning things myself, but as the selling agent, I believe the property should have been handed over properly and these items should have been removed. I contacted Ricky several times by phone and message regarding this issue, but he has not responded. I also contacted Ray White Carlingford twice and explained the situation politely, asking them to resolve it. I was told nothing meaningful and have still received no apology or proper follow-up. I even explained that if they were not going to take action, I would bring the rubbish to their office, yet there was still no response. Unfortunately, this was not the only disappointing experience I had with this agency. Previously, I contacted two other agents from the same office regarding property inspections and received little or no response. On one occasion, an inspection was advertised on realestate.com.au. I called the supporting agent, who confirmed that the inspection was going ahead and told me that her colleague would meet me at the property. I travelled there, rang the bell, and the owner told me there was actually no inspection scheduled that day. I called the agent immediately, but there was no answer and I never received a call back. I understand that mistakes can happen in real estate, but what matters is how a business responds when a customer raises an issue. In my experience, the communication, follow-up and customer service from Ray White Carlingford have been extremely disappointing. I would strongly recommend that the management team look seriously at how customer enquiries and existing clients are being handled. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to someone expecting reliable communication and professional customer service.
