We sold our family home with Nick Johnstone Real Estate, and worked with Katie, Nick and Natasha. From the first meeting we were provided a clear strategy with realistic advice about pricing and timing. We initially thought a private sale would be the way to go, but Nick explained why an auction would suit our situation better and backed it up with local knowledge and recent results. We trusted his call and it paid off – the final price was above our reserve and we felt the campaign was handled really well from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout. We always knew where things were at, buyer feedback was passed on honestly, and we never felt pushed or pressured. All the paperwork was handled efficiently, mostly online, which made the whole thing easy. The commission was fair, clearly explained from the outset and there were no surprises. Nick also acted as auctioneer on the day and did a great job. He kept the pace moving, worked the bidders confidently, and we felt he achieved proper market value for the house. We’d be very comfortable selling through Nick again and are happy to recommend him.
