Very unprofessional real estate agent. Janet Mutema and her team are a horrible property manager, very rude to talk and work with. She managed one of our property in Gold Coast but we have to terminate her due to her deceptive conducts. Would not recommend this property agent for any business matters. Run while you can!

Extremely disappointing experience with Mitchell Real Estate, particularly Janet Mutema as our property manager. Janet’s poor management of our property caused us significant unnecessary costs, time and stress. Communication was inconsistent, particularly regarding repairs and maintenance. We were given different information at different times, and proper records were not maintained, making it very difficult to establish what had actually been requested, approved or completed. When we changed to a new property manager, we discovered that there were numerous outstanding matters and inadequate records that the new agent had to spend considerable time sorting out and cleaning up. As property owners, we expect transparency, accurate record-keeping, proactive communication and professional management. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. The financial cost was frustrating, but the lack of accountability and the amount of work left for the new agent were even more disappointing. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Janet or Mitchell Real Estate for property management.

Property Owner here - deeply dissatisfied. Communication is horrendous-say one thing & do another & Janet the property manager doesn't follow instruction. The office is often left unmanned during normal trading hours. Property management does not operate on Saturday.
