As a real estate agent managing rental properties, you have legal duties under Australian tenancy law including: • Ensuring tenants don’t interfere with the reasonable peace and enjoyment of neighboring properties • Responding appropriately to legitimate complaints about tenant behavior • Managing properties in a way that doesn’t create nuisances for the surrounding community • Taking reasonable steps to address violent or disruptive tenant behavior when reported My review was based on genuine experiences with noise and violent behavior from tenants you were managing. This directly relates to your professional property management services and your failure to address these serious issues when reported. Instead of threatening customers who raise legitimate concerns about your property management, perhaps focus on improving your tenant screening and management processes. My review stands as an honest account of my experience with your services. I suggest you review your responsibilities under Australian property management law rather than intimidating customers who experienced the consequences of your poor tenant management.
This agent will urge you to sign a contract and make you feel like you do not know anything about purchasing real estate. There you are doing your due diligence consulting with your solicitor and seeking advice, but Mike will rush you into signing a contract. I was even told to tell my solicitor to keep up with the times! I have not dealt with such level of unprofessionalism from a Real Estate Agent - such a shame for the profession. We were reasonably stipulating the conditions we wanted in the contract but instead of dealing with us in a professional manner, he acted as if our standard requests were out of this world. We would not have acted without legal advice but here we are being made to feel that our requests were unacceptable. He would even respond to some emails with "LOL" - like we are friends. I would have expected a more professional conduct. In the end, when we thought we were waiting for an updated contract, they inadvertently emailed us to say that the property was already offered to somebody else. We weren't even notified that our offer to purchase was already off. Worst part is that they even tried to recall the email AND THEN we were told that 'the seller' decided to go with somebody else. What a complete waste of time. Not only did we lose the opportunity to purchase a house, but it also even costed us more financially as a result of this failed dealing. Will never recommend this small business especially for buyers.
I was renting a property which was managed by Sue and Mike for 2.5 years. Sue was very prompt in raising work orders as and when we inform them of an issue. Kept us fully informed when they were selling the property we were renting. Mike was very friendly when visiting the property for inspections. Always made sure that none of us at the house were disturbed. Any issues raised to Mike were also addressed through work orders immediately. Will definitely recommend them to others.
