Over 8 months of house hunting, Max Brown have taken the top spot as the most unprofessional and dishonest real estate agents we’ve encountered. They repeatedly misled us face to face about how they handle multiple offers and when offers would close. At times, they couldn’t even provide a clear or consistent answer. On three separate properties, we explicitly told them we were preparing offers more than $50k above the eventual sale price each time, they either closed offers earlier than stated or came up with vague excuses. This wasn’t a one off mistake. It was a clear pattern of poor communication at best, or deliberate deception at worst. Either way, it cost their vendors significantly lower sale prices. If you’re selling, you have to ask, why trust an agency that potentially leaves tens of thousands of dollars on the table? The vendors wouldn’t even know. And if you’re buying, expect confusion, inconsistency, and a complete lack of transparency. I'm so grateful I was able to purchase a property without the headaches of dealing with them again. Edit: This review is NOT posted in error, my name was not on the inspections. You can say this doesn’t reflect your values all you want, however, it's my real experience that I've never encountered another real estate agency as unprofessional throughout 100+ inspections and multiple offers.

My partner and I have rented our property through Max Brown for many years now and found them to be fantastic. We couldn't be happier with this company! Both Wendy & Sonja are fabulous people to deal with, they are always professional and helpful when getting back to you and fast to resolve any queries/questions. Highly recommend Wendy, Sonja and Max Brown that's for sure!!!

Max Brown have been managing my rental property since I purchased it in 2015. From the beginning of my experience, the team have been professional and proactive in helping me find responsible and respectful long term tenants. If an issue arises, Wendy and Sonja are clear and timely in their communication, and always a pleasure to interact with. I could not recommend the team more more highly.
