I had a horrific experience with Helen Kirkman. After confirming key arrangements in advance to return a cabinet which cost me $290 and two hours of my time, arrived with the removalists driving a van only to find the keys missing due to her oversight. Instead of resolving the issue, Helen was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me to either take the cabinet back and pay for another delivery next week—showing a total lack of respect for my time and money—or to simply leave it outside in the rain, stating that I would be responsible for any damages. After I expressed my concerns, she even attempted to dismiss my concerns by claiming I ‘wasn’t even the primary name on the lease’ thus the primary person would be liable for any potential damage. Her lack of accountability and unprofessionalism demonstrate a complete disregard for both the property owner’s interests and the company’s reputation. Throughout the interaction, Helen was arrogant and displayed a clearly racist attitude toward me. She mocked my intent to lodge complaint, asking 'Who are you complaining to?', and only changed her tune once I directly confronted her regarding her discriminatory behavior. This kind of hostile entitlement and racial bias have no place in any professional business. Unacceptable.

Really great property managers at Latham Cusack. As a long-term renter I've found that clear communication is absolutely key and Latham Cusack were always responded in a timely manner anytime we had a query and we're very considerate of our needs as the tenants. Definitely recommend them.

Excellent property managers. I'm saying this as a tenant. If I could only work with the one property management company for the rest of my life, it would be them. Also, Helen is fantastic, and I think they're just one of those rare, well-run, professionally-run businesses.
