If a zero-star rating were possible, it would still be too generous for JWC Rentals. My experience dealing with Billy Soe and Eva Chow has been an absolute nightmare. They are incredibly unprofessional and operate with deeply unethical practices—specifically, keeping tenants completely in the dark about upcoming rent increases for months on end. Once you sign the lease, you are on your own. They never answer maintenance requests, no matter how many times you follow up. Even basic, straightforward issues like fixing a broken towel rail or a range hood light were completely ignored for the duration of the tenancy. When it comes time to move out, be prepared for a fight over your own money. They will try their absolute best to aggressively deduct from your bond, blatantly ignoring Victorian tenancy laws that clearly protect renters when it comes to basic, acceptable wear and tear. They just hope you don't know your rights. Honestly, looking at their profile, it is highly likely that most of their positive reviews (there are only 76 in total anyway) are either totally fake or written by their friends to inflate their score. Good luck if you're a renter considering this agency. Save yourself the massive headache and go anywhere else.
