Urban Activation

In my 40 years of investing in various types of properties in multiple countries all over the world this is the most unprofessional organization I have ever experienced. The staff I dealt with - in particular Matt George and Jonti Merkin - seemed to have minimal understanding of the parties involved, the circumstances, and the agreements/contracts. Matt, whom I have never met and had no previous experience with until closer to settlement said to me “this is way over your head” and “you should go listen to your lawyer” (which I have proof of through email) when I tried to point out discrepancies and incongruent communication in regards to the final inspection and settlement process. Given I run 2 successful businesses, have a substantial investment portfolio, and earn more the 97-98% of the population - his comments seem to reflect an individual who is uneducated, sexist, and immature. Asking questions and calling urban activation representatives on their actions and words are considered “mean” - a deflection which avoids taking responsibility and accountability for their ignorance and errors. Spending millions on a property and being treated so poorly is shocking. I recommend avoiding anything to do with this company and in particular Matt George. Hopefully Urban activation will provide employees appropriate training before they set them loose to deal with customers. Dr CG

As a former tenant renting here, and with multiple investment properties of my own, I found Adam at Urban Activation to be professional and helpful throughout. This was in spite of having a landlord that I felt was grossly unreasonable in my lease break situation. While the landlord wasn’t reasonable in my view, Adam as the agent remained so throughout. Including during challenging correspondence etc. Thanks for your professionalism Adam, and I think that this agency does well to balance the property owner and tenant relationship with professionalism even in challenging times.
