The Bisi Agent - NORTHCOTE

I strongly advise prospective buyers and sellers to look elsewhere. My experience with this agent during a Melbourne property purchase was highly unprofessional and lacked basic compliance. Under Section 47AF of the Victorian Estate Agents Act 1980, agents are legally required to provide a Statement of Information listing three comparable property sales. This ensures pricing transparency and prevents illegal underquoting. When requested, this agent flatly refused to provide the data, incorrectly claimed he was exempt, and abruptly ceased all communication. Instead of contacting the vendor directly, I formally reported this non-compliance to Consumer Affairs Victoria. I urge anyone considering this agent to read older reviews for an accurate picture of his conduct, as recent positive feedback appears highly suspect. Seek an agency that respects both its clients and the law.
