Our experience with this agency has been disappointing, and while we’re not in the business of leaving negative reviews, we feel it’s important to share an honest account to help others make informed decisions. When we first took possession of our rental property, we encountered multiple urgent safety issues — including a rusting bathtub left in the yard, a sawn-off clothesline pole that posed a serious injury risk, expander foam bursting from walls, and extensive rubbish left under the house. Despite raising these concerns with the property manager at the time, no action was taken until we were forced to issue a formal Notice to Remedy Breach. This set the tone for a tenancy where maintenance has largely been reactive, not proactive. More recently, we became aware that feedback provided in a rental reference — which had never been communicated to us directly during any inspection — may be impacting our ability to secure a new property. Despite raising this with the office, there has been no acknowledgement or apology for the lack of communication or the consequences it has had for our family. While some maintenance items are eventually addressed, and the property manager has claimed to process references promptly, the broader pattern of dismissiveness and lack of accountability has left us feeling undervalued as tenants. It’s disappointing, especially given that we had recommended this agency to others in good faith. We would encourage prospective tenants to document all concerns in writing and keep thorough records, as we’ve learned the hard way that informal conversations alone may not lead to timely action or fair treatment.
