Mel has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the area and was very proactive through out the selling process. Whatever you do - just stay clear of LJ Hooker Coomera as a rental. My partner and I recently purchased a property which meant we had to break the lease. We had a very rude and arrogant lady Kate who seemed to be mad that we broke the lease earlier than she expected. We did not care about the costs associated with the break lease - however all she cared about was making sure “we pay the charges and fees” and kept saying how the “owner is so picky who he makes a tenant”. This was a way of trying to guilt trip us and make us feel bad - however we did not care. We explained multiple times and I sent over 10+ emails requesting for the invoices to be sent through so we can finalise all payments. To find out she left and another two ladies were in charge catching up on her stuff. I don’t blame those two ladies but to send 5+ emails again requesting for them to tell me whether there’s anything outstanding, and then release our bond. No response. It has been just over a month since we handed our keys back and broke lease and we are still chasing them to release our bond from their end. Not to mention the amount of things that went wrong in the house after a week of moving in. We put through a property maintenance request about 7 times and had to wait over 3-4 weeks to get some things fixed. Again - whatever you do - just be mindful that LJ Hooker Coomera doesn’t care about tenants and seems to care more about the money.
